The importance of skincare in summer

Tips for skin care in summer

Do not think of stopping your skin care routine when summer hits and everyone is ready for fun outside home. In order to maintain your skin’s health there is a need of making some sort of adjustments for saving your skin from summer heat and sun. Sun is well known for causing sunburn and wrinkles as a result; sun can actually increase the rate at which wrinkles appear.

Do not forget things like U.V. or ultra violet rays and its harmful effects on your skin such as types of cancers and other skin related problems such as wrinkles and premature aging. Therefore, here are some tips for skin care in summer, to help you get the show on a roll without worrying too much about the administrative issues of skincare and other issues like that.

Make sure that you have plenty of sun tan lotion prepared for your little trip.

The suntan lotion should also have UVA and UVB protection. Follow the directions on the label when using suntan lotion. Put on more suntan lotion if you\'re in the sun for over an hour. Also reapply suntan lotion frequently if you go for a swim or are sweating a lot. Also, you actually should stay clear of the sun between ten AM and four PM.

It may feel like a pain in the neck at first because after a long winter you just want to get your groove on and have a good time enjoying this fine weather with the smiling happy people.

However, by taking this one precaution you will definitely be able to enjoy yourself much more without having to worry about whether you will get sun burnt or not. In case you haven't been sun burnt in the past- let's just say it's a very displeasing and rather an uncomfortable situation to be in.

Have fun in a safe way!

How to stay healthy in summer

For most people, they may have a hard time listing down all the things they need to accomplish for the beginning of the year, but sticking to it is even harder, especially on health issues.

Resolution 1: Promote a Healthy Lifestyle
Always remember that a healthy body can only be achieved by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This is not done overnight. It takes a lot longer than you can imagine. You cannot just be healthy for quite some time. It should be a whole lifetime. To reach your goal, you have to establish first a healthy lifestyle.

• Eat three full and balanced meals a day. Remember the go, grow, and glow foods every time you prepare your meals.
• Have more than five different fruits a day. Fruits are good sources of antioxidants.
• Exercise daily. You have to sweat out to renew skin cells.
• Drink lots of water and fruit juices daily. This promotes good digestion.
• Quit smoking. It will make you look younger.
• Drink alcoholic drinks in moderation. It's always the doctor's advice, and you also see them even in commercials.
• Get enough hours of sleep. Take enough rest.

Resolution 2: Stick to It

Sticking to resolution 1 is even harder and it takes a lot of courage to do so. However, keep in mind that you are doing it for your own good, and not for the sake of others. Think of the benefits you are assured to get once you stick to it.

• You will look younger.
• Your hair becomes shinier.
• You will have good eyesight.
• Your skin will be younger looking.
• Your body stays fit and sexy.
• You will have longer life.

Keep Your Eye on the Goal

No matter how difficult it may be, always focus your eye on the goal. Once an idea is conceived in the mind, it will narrow down to your actions and feelings. Always stick in your memory that you need to maintain your healthy lifestyle, and there's no point in turning back once you have already started it. When you put it into mind, you will feel good about everything that you do. By and by, your system will learn to love it. Hence, it strengthens your desire to go on through the whole process. Sooner, you will have gained more benefits. You feel good about yourself. Hence, you are able to boost your confidence. You will be satisfied with the results, and there's a fulfilment of all your efforts.

Scariest Urban Legends

URBAN LEGENDS

What is an Urban Legend?
Urban legends are a type of folklore, defined as the handed-down beliefs, stories, songs and customs of ordinary people ("the folk"). One way to differentiate urban legends from other narrative forms (e.g., popular fiction, TV dramas, or news stories) is to compare where they come from and how they're propagated.

Unlike fiction or drama, which are usually produced by individual authors, urban legends tend to emerge spontaneously and are rarely traceable to a single source. Again unlike fiction or drama, urban legends are spread primarily via interpersonal communication, from individual to individual, and only in atypical cases via mass media or other institutional means. And lastly, urban legends change over time due to repetition and embellishment, hence no two versions are ever exactly alike; there can be as many variants as there are tellers of the tale.

Friend`s Day in Argentina

Día del Amigo (Spanish, Friend's Day) is a celebration of friendship, held annually on July 20, mainly in Argentina and Uruguay, but also in some other countries.
The idea for Friend's Day goes back to the Argentinean teacher, musician, and dentist Enrique Febbraro, who lobbied to turn the anniversary of the first moon landing into an international day of friendship, along his Rotary Club de Once, in Buenos Aires. He argued that on this particular day, the whole world had been friends of the three astronauts. The first official recognition of the day came with decree No. 235/79 by the government of the province of Buenos Aires, which authorized the celebration and gave it official nature.
In Argentina, Friend's Day is often a good excuse for a common friendly gathering, though people also employ the day to get in contact with old and seldom-met friends and greet them. Since it is not a public holiday in Argentina, the gatherings tend to happen during the evening.
Though Friend's Day has always been respected, in recent years it has turned into a very popular mass phenomenon. In 2005, too many well-wishing friends led to a temporary breakdown of the mobile phone network in the cities of Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Rosario, comparable to the one experienced in 2004 on Christmas and New Year's Day. In the case of Rosario, La Capital newspaper reported that seats in most restaurants, bars and other establishments were already booked out completely a week before the celebration. In Rosario, there is a movement to change the celebration of the Friends Day to the 19th of July, day that the best comic writer from that city (Roberto Fontanarrosa) died.

Did you know...? The Importance of Positive Thinking

Research From Dr. Masaru Emoto, says that human thoughts are directed at water before it is frozen, images of the resulting water crystals will be beautiful or ugly depending upon whether the thoughts were positive or negative. Emoto claims this can be achieved through prayer, music or by attaching written words to a container of water. Since 1999 Emoto has published several volumes of a work titled Messages from Water, which contains photographs of water crystals next to essays and "words of intent".
